Associate Professor Fengjun Yin published a technical paper “Derivative-extremum analysis of current-potential curves showing electrochemical kinetics in the full reversibility range” in Chinese Chemical Letters (IF: 6.779), DOI: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.cclet.2022.01.078 . In this paper, a universal electrode equation is derived and a derivative-extremum analysis (DEA) method being valid in the full reversibility range is obtained. The equations referenced with E0, E1/2 and Eeq were summarized and their applications were specified. Reversibility classifications were proposed according to the DEA feature in the reversibility domain. All in all, this work refined the electrode equation forms and generalized their applicability in the full range of reversibility. Prof. Hong Liu is the corresponding author of this paper.
